  6. The first time I heard this album was in my Godfathers house, the tune I loved the most was the "theme to a summer place". I liked the film as well even though I saw it after I heard the soundtrack. There's really good 50's and early 60's rockabilly and doo wop tunes on this. Highly recommended is the original version of the Summer place theme/5(12).
  7. "The Loco-Motion" is a pop song written by American songwriters Gerry Goffin and Carole King. "The Loco-Motion" was originally written for Dee Dee Sharp, but Sharp turned the song down. The song is notable for appearing in the American Top 3 thrice, each time in a different decade: in by the American pop singer Little Eva (U.S. No. 1); in by the American band Grand Funk Railroad.
